Unplanned urbanization is a problem child of development. Picture this – The population of Dhaka is more than the total population of Nepal. Now imagine the volume of waste that kind of population will produce per minute. The irony lies in development again. Doesn’t development also include waste management and recycling plants? Well, for now the people have dumped their answers in the river banks but what they don’t realize is their bad investment.
